Roosters beat Manly 26-18 to win NRL final

The Sydney Roosters have won the NRL grand final with a thrilling come from behind 26-18 victory over Manly at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium.

Up 8-6 at the break, the Roosters conceded 12 straight points, including a penalty try to trail 18-8.

The Roosters then piled on 18 unanswered points, with centre Michael Jennings sealing the win and the club’s 13th premiership with a remarkable try.

They scored four tries to three to clinch their first premiership in 11 years.
