Josh Reynolds has apologised for his late-game flare-up with Canterbury teammate Michael Lichaa in Saturday’s 24-20 NRL loss to the Warriors in Wellington.
In the 69th minute of the Westpac Stadium clash with the Dogs down 24-14 but on the attack, Lichaa tossed a poor pass out of dummy half in front of first receiver Reynolds who spilt the ball.
Star five-eighth Reynolds didn’t hide his disgust at the pass as he launched a verbal spray at his hooker and threw the Steeden back at Lichaa.
The former NSW representative who Dogs teammates have said has approached the 2016 with a calmer demeanour said it was a regretful return to his old hotheaded ways.
“Anyone no any relationship councilors we are on the rocks??” Reynolds wrote on Instagram next to a photo of him and Lichaa.
“On a serious note the old me snuck out a little last night emotions got the better of me, not a good look ill admit but was a tough loss we beat ourselves in the end say what you got to say we will be back ..”
