Raiders sign Sisa Waga for two seasons

The Canberra Raiders have signed Melbourne Storm winger Sisa Waqa on a two-year contract starting in 2015.

Waqa has played 66 NRL matches since his debut for the Roosters in 2009, scoring 35 tries. He also represented Fiji at last year’s rugby league World Cup.

Canberra Raiders CEO Don Furner said Waqa would be a great addition to the Raiders’ back line.

“Sisa is an experienced player with an outstanding try scoring rate and we are excited about him joining our club in 2015,” Furner said.

“We’re looking forward to him being with the club for the next two years.”
