Raiders’ Kennedy re-signs for two years

Canberra utility Jarrad Kennedy has re-signed with the NRL club until the end of 2017.

Kennedy, who has played the majority of his 29 NRL games in the second row but has also filled in at lock and centre, has been with the the club since he was 17.

His younger brother Rhys also joined the club in 2015 from the Melbourne Storm.

“This club is now family to me,” the 26-year-old said.

“Another reason I wanted to stay here is that the culture has picked up massively.”
