Paul Gallen named in NRL All Stars squad

Paul Gallen is set to play his first rugby league match since serving his doping ban next month after being named in the NRL All Stars team.

The NSW skipper was on Monday included in coach Wayne Bennett’s 20-man squad for the February 13 clash with the Indigenous All Stars at Cbus Super Stadium.

Newcastle enforcer Beau Scott captains an NRL All Stars side that also boasts Manly’s Kieran Foran, Mitchell Pearce of the Sydney Roosters and Canterbury hardman James Graham.

Superstars Greg Inglis and Johnathan Thurston headline the Indigenous outfit, as voted by fans, with new Cronulla recruit Ben Barba named at five eighth alongside halfback Johnathan Thurston.
