Parramatta Leagues board decision looms

The Parramatta Leagues Club board could be sacked on Tuesday afternoon after the Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority board meets to discuss its future.

NSW deputy premier Troy Grant has expressed concerns about the board in the wake of the Parramatta NRL club’s salary cap scandal and called a special meeting of the ILGA board.

Grant can sack the leagues club board – which has the same members as the NRL club board – and appoint a temporary administrator on the advice of the ILGA.
