Mbye starts for Canterbury in grand final

Moses Mbye has been officially named at hooker in Canterbury’s starting line-up for the NRL grand final against South Sydney at ANZ Stadium.

The young Queenslander replaces injured Bulldogs skipper Michael Ennis, who was ruled out on Saturday with fractured foot.

The 21-year-old has played eight games this season for coach Des Hasler’s side, mostly in the halves and also in the centres.

Michael Maguire’s Rabbitohs will line up as expected with Api Koroisau in at hooker for the suspended Issac Luke.

Souths are looking to end a 43-year wait to win a grand final while former Manly mentor Hasler is aiming to win a third premiership in eight years.
