Lima out for 10 weeks with hip injury

Canberra have suffered a major blow with prop Jeff Lima to be sidelined for almost the remainder of the NRL season.

The Raiders confirmed late on Monday Lima will be out for around 10 weeks after injuring his hip during their round 12 win over Canterbury.

He had only returned from a month-and-half layoff a week earlier, having fractured his hand in round four.

A 10 week layoff will see him back around round 24 or 25 of the 26-round season.

Meanwhile, a decision will be made on Tuesday on whether winger Edrick Lee will play in Thursday’s clash with Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium.

Lee hurt his hamstring against the Bulldogs and missed Friday’s 30-18 victory over Manly at GIO Stadium.
