Laurie Daley firms to take New South Wales Blues coaching job

Laurie Daley has firmed from $4.00 into $3.00 with online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au to be named the next coach of the New South Wales Blues.

Jim Dymock joins Trent Barrett on the second line of betting at $5.00 after drifting from $4.50, while Phil Gould has eased from $6.00 out to $9.00.

“So far, Daley has been the one the punters want, attracting 82 percent of bets on the market,” sportsbet.com.au’s Ben Hawes said.

Steve Folkes has been priced as a $17 chance, while Mick Potter ($26), Andrew Johns ($31), Des Hasler ($34) and Peter Sterling ($101) remained steady.

Despite Ricky Stuart’s departure, the Blues have firmed from $2.25 into $2.20 to win the 2013 series, with Queensland easing from $1.65 to $1.67.
