Knights forward Rochow out for eight weeks

Newcastle forward Robbie Rochow will have surgery on his broken arm on Wednesday and miss up to eight weeks of the NRL season.

Further compounding the Knights’ injury woes, the club confirmed Rochow will spend 6-8 weeks on the sidelines to recover from a broken right radius sustained during Friday’s 44-22 loss to Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium.

The match was only the 24-year-old lock’s second back after his eight-week absence earlier this year following surgery for bulging discs in his back.
