Sydney Roosters prop Martin Kennedy has been provisionally suspended by the NRL over drug allegations made against him.

The NRL released a statement regarding the ban on Friday morning after Kennedy was issued with a Notice of Alleged Anti-Doping Rule Violations under the Anti-Doping Policy on Wednesday.

“The matter will now proceed to the NRL’s Anti-Doping Tribunal and the NRL will not be making further comment while this process is under way,” the statement said.
