Jennings stood down for one NRL match

Sydney Roosters centre Michael Jennings has been suspended by the club for one NRL match over a late-night drinking session.

Roosters coach Trent Robinson announced on Sunday that Jennings will miss Monday night’s clash with St George-Illawarra and will also be fined after he was charged for offensive behaviour and hindering police in Parramatta early on Saturday.

There is still a chance that NSW’s man of the match from State of Origin II will be sanctioned by the NRL, jeopardising his place in next month’s series decider.
