I exploded under Origin pressure: Reynolds

Canterbury five-eighth Josh Reynolds admits he imploded under the pressure of trying to retain his NSW State of Origin jumper last season.

Reynolds was dropped by NSW Origin coach Laurie Daley after he was suspended for the sixth time in 12 months and his form dropped away.

But with Mitchell Pearce suspended and Trent Hodkinson out of touch at new club Newcastle, the in-form Reynolds is being touted for an Origin recall and can help his cause with a big game against fellow halves contenders Aidan Sezer and Blake Austin when the Bulldogs play Canberra on Monday.
