Hodgson injured in Raiders NRL qualifier

Canberra have been dealt a huge blow with hooker Josh Hodgson suffering a suspected serious ankle injury in their NRL qualifying final against Cronulla.

The Dally M Medal contender was carried off the field just three minutes into the second half of the Saturday game at GIO Stadium.

Hodgson has been one of the Raiders’ best this season and is the leading No.9 in the competition for linebreaks and try assists.

Sharks’ backrower Wayde Graham was also lost to the game after suffering a first half head knock.
