Brisbane’s Matt Gillett may be one of the most sought after off-contract players in the NRL but the representative forward wants to stay a Bronco.
Gillett is reportedly facing a massive pay cut if he does sign a new deal with the Broncos, with Gold Coast and Cronulla already showing interest in the Queensland and Australia back-rower.
But the 27-year-old says nothing has been finalised and is adamant his first preference is to try to sign a new deal at the Broncos.
