Farah still a chance for Origin III: Daley

NSW coach Laurie Daley insists Robbie Farah remains a chance to play in Wednesday’s rugby league State of Origin series decider.

In his pre-match media conference on Monday, Daley said his injured hooker did “more than we expected” in the side’s second-last training session on Sunday.

The Blues players had a day off on Monday and Farah, who had surgery on his broken hand last week, will need to further impress Daley in the team’s final training session on Tuesday if he is to play in Origin III at Suncorp Stadium.

However a final decision might not be made on Farah’s fitness, and whether Michael Ennis will replace him, until an hour before kick-off on Wednesday night when the teams are named.
