Boom Gold Coast rookie Kane Elgey and Manly captain Jamie Lyon are both expected to spend up to six weeks on the NRL sidelines due to injury.

Elgey suffered an ankle complaint in the Titans’ win over Wests Tigers at Leichhardt Oval in round 13 last weekend, while Lyon suffered a hamstring injury.

According to injury updates provided by the respective clubs on Tuesday, both players are expected to be out for between four and six weeks.

Last-placed Manly have the bye this weekend, while Daniel Mortimer replaces Elgey in the Titans’ halves as they host Canterbury on Sunday

Canterbury skipper James Graham will undergo scans on his troublesome hamstring on Wednesday. Fears the tough prop is set for an extended spell on the sidelines should be confirmed or otherwise Wednesday afternoon.

South Sydney hooker Issac Luke is another injury concern, the Kiwi rake ruled out of the Rabbitohs’ round 14 clash with Wests Tigers at ANZ Stadium on Friday due to a knee injury.

He is expected to be out for one week.

In other news City interchange prop Reagan Campbell-Gillard has extended his contract with Penrith until the end of the 2019 season.
