Reports emerged on Friday that Parramatta star Kieran Foran was taken to hospital after an overdose of prescription medication.

Parramatta chief executive John Boulous wouldn’t comment on the reports on Friday, but did say the club is giving him all the support he needs.

Foran was on Thursday granted a leave of absence to deal with personal issues, ruling him out of Friday night’s clash with Canterbury, but has been released from hospital.
