Parramatta are again at odds with the NRL match review committee with the club to challenge Reece Robinson’s dangerous throw charge at the judiciary.

Robinson will front the panel on Wednesday night in a bid to have his grade two dangerous throw on South Sydney’s Joel Reddy in Friday’s dramatic round four win downgraded.

If the charge is brought down to a grade one, Robinson will be free to play Wests Tigers on Easter Monday.

If found guilty of the grade two offence, he will be outed for three games.

Eels coach Brad Arthur expressed his displeasure at the match review committee and judiciary last month after forward Junior Paulo copped a nine-match ban for a grade three dangerous throw.

Meanwhile, injured utility Brad Takairangi has pleaded no contest to a grade-one dangerous throw, also on Reddy, and will miss a match he is sidelined for regardless.

The NRL moved to consolidate its position on dangerous tackles on Tuesday in a video on their website which stated: “an essential element of a dangerous throw is that there must have been some degree of elevation” and that “all players have at all times a duty to avoid the possibility of injury to the head, neck and spinal column of an opposing player”.

The video included, as a classic example of a dangerous throw, footage of Issac Luke’s tackle on Sonny Bill Williams that led to the Rabbitohs No.9 missing last year’s grand final.

It also featured Josh Reynolds and Beau Scott tackling Brent Tate in State of Origin I last year.

Meanwhile, Gold Coast rake Beau Falloon has taken the early guilty plea on a grade one dangerous throw and will miss two matches due to loading and carry over points.

Eels prop Darcy Lussick, Tigers centre Chris Lawrence, Canterbury prop David Klemmer, Manly forward Dunamis Lui and Canberra hooker Josh Hodgson have all taken the early plea on their offences and are free to play this weekend.

Sea Eagles rookie prop Jake Trbojevic will join Robinson at the judiciary in a bid to beat a grade one dangerous throw.
