Decision on Fifita delayed by Sharks

Cronulla have postponed a board meeting to deal with the Andrew Fifita issue, with a outcome not due until next week.

Fifita stands accused of abusing a referee at an A-Grade fixture nearly three weeks ago and was due to front the Sharks board on Thursday night.

However, that meeting will not go ahead.

“The board meeting has been delayed and there will be no outcome today,” a Sharks official told AAP.

Fifita and his brother David have been stood down by the Sharks over the issue and neither will be available for Saturday’s round-22 NRL clash with North Queensland.
