NSW coach Laurie Daley says he is yet to consider who might replace troubled playmaker Mitchell Pearce for this year’s State of Origin series.

Pearce’s immediate future remains in doubt as he awaits punishment from the NRL for his lewd Australia Day video that led to a month-long stint in an overseas rehabilitation clinic.

Daley says he will wait until the governing body hands down a penalty before deciding on Pearce’s future with the Blues, but hadn’t begun searching for alternatives either.
