North Queensland have wrapped up their preparation for Sunday’s NRL decider against Brisbane with a captain’s run at ANZ Stadium on Saturday morning.

After suffering a corked calf against Melbourne in the preliminary final, skipper Johnathan Thurston completed his second training run and is a certain starter.

The Cowboys will finalise their build-up with a team dinner as they seek to claim the club’s first premiership.
