Daly Cherry-Evans has reportedly backflipped on his contract with Gold Coast and will remain at Manly until the end of the 2018 NRL season.
According to News Corp, the embattled Sea Eagles have re-signed star halfback Cherry-Evans on a new two-year deal worth $3.5 million.
The Sea Eagles have called a media conference for 1pm for “a major club announcement”, expected to be the Cherry-Evans deal.
Under NRL rules, Cherry-Evans was allowed to change his mind over the deal with the Titans up until the end of round 13 next week.
