Bulldogs trio cop NRL bans

Canterbury skipper James Graham and teammates David Klemmer and Sam Kasiano have all been suspended after accepting penalties from the NRL.

Graham on Tuesday submitted an early guilty plea on charges of dangerous contact and contrary conduct from Friday’s explosive clash with South Sydney.

He will miss four matches.

Klemmer has been banned for three matches for contrary conduct for his spray at referee Gerard Sutton over the same incident in the dying minutes that brought Graham’s two bans.

Giant prop Sam Kasiano’s early plea to a dangerous contact charge over an incident with Souths hooker Isaac Luke means he will miss two weeks.

Hooker Michael Lichaa, the third Bulldogs player charged with dissent, ensured he escaped a ban because of a lesser grading.

In further charges from round five of the NRL, Canberra winger Jordan Rapana will miss a week for a careless high tackle on Manly’s Jamie Buhrer.

Rabbitohs prop George Burgess and Sydney Roosters back-rower Aidan Guerra will front the NRL judiciary on Wednesday night to beat the respective charges of dangerous contact and a dangerous throw.
