Bulldogs’ Sam Perrett to retire from NRL

Canterbury winger Sam Perrett has announced he will retire from the NRL at the end of the 2016 season.

The Bulldogs winger, who has scored 90 tries in 252 games, also represented New Zealand in 21 Tests and was a member of their World Cup-winning side in 2008.

“It’s been a tough decision and an emotional one, but it’s time for me to hang up the boots,” the 31-year-old said.
