Brisbane forward Adam Blair says he can see similarities with his ex-Melbourne teammates with whom he he won two grand finals, and the Broncos after their last-round NRL win over the Storm.
The Broncos racked up 385 tackles and defended 11 line dropouts to hold on for a 14-12 win – just their second in Melbourne since 2003 – and maintain top spot on the ladder.
Blair – who was at Melbourne during their 2007 and 2009 grand final wins – said Brisbane showed the defence and team worth ethic that reminded him of his Storm days.
