Brisbane have named James Roberts to play in Thursday night’s NRL clash with Canterbury despite the centre being investigated over an alleged drunken incident.
Roberts was dragged out from a Brisbane hotel on Sunday night after abusing a female staff member when he was refused service and the Broncos announced on Wednesday they were investigating the incident.
Despite that, Roberts will play against the Bulldogs while five-eighth Anthony Milford will start after an injury scare on Tuesday at training.
