Melbourne prop Jesse Bromwich will miss Monday night’s NRL clash with Penrith following the birth of his second child with partner Lezyola.

Bromwich didn’t travel with the Storm to Sydney for the match at Sportingbet Stadium due to the baby boy’s impending arrival.

The Panthers will also be without a star in hooker James Segeyaro, who has returned to his native Papua New Guinea after the death of his father.

Kevin Kingston is likely to be his replacement.

“It’s a really difficult circumstance, but we’re thinking of him, and the boys will be out there looking forward to playing well for him,” coach Ivan Cleary said.
