Better news for Broncos with Opacic fit

Brisbane rookie Tom Opacic has passed a fitness test on his shoulder and will play in Friday’s NRL semi-final against North Queensland.

Opacic missed last week’s elimination final win over Gold Coast with the shoulder injury but got through Thursday’s training session at Red Hill unscathed and has been cleared to take his place at left centre.

He comes into the side for the suspended James Roberts, with Jordan Kahu to move to right centre and Jonus Pearson to play on the wing.
