Brisbane’s eight-day break between games is exactly what the Broncos need to keep their NRL juggernaut rolling along, forward Adam Blair says.

After beating Canterbury on Saturday, the Broncos won’t return to the paddock until their home clash with Wests Tigers.

The extended rest comes at the perfect time for Queensland Origin stars Corey Parker, Sam Thaiday, Matt Gillett and Darius Boyd, who backed up last week’s series-deciding win by facing the Bulldogs.

Justin Hodges should be ripe for a return after missing the 16-8 win.

“They’re our leaders, we’re just the followers that work off the back of them,” Blair said.
