Cronulla’s Ben Barba is in contention to play fullback for Queensland, according to Maroons State of Origin coach Kevin Walters.
Walters said Barba would be considered along with Greg Inglis and Darius Boyd for the Maroons No.1 jersey to replace the injured Billy Slater.
Slater will be sidelined for the rest of the NRL season due to shoulder surgery.
