Between $40,000 and $50,000 is next in the market at $3.50 while the payment remaining at $20,000 is the outsider at $9.00.
“It will be interesting to see what impact the new broadcast deal will have on State of Origin match payments but the market suggests we’re likely to see a rise in what the players will be paid,” sportsbet.com.au’s Ben Hawes said.
The Blues continue to drift in series winner betting, now out to $2.80 while Queensland remain firm favourite at $1.45.
