Australia’s Jack Miller has led from start to finish to win the German Moto3 Grand Prix and extend his lead at the top of the championship.

The 19-year-old Red Bull KTM Ajo rider took the chequered flag in front of South African Brad Binder on a Mahindra and Frenchman Alexis Masbou on a Honda at the Hohenstein-Ernstthal circuit on Sunday.

It was a fourth win of the year from nine races for the Queenslander, who moved further ahead of Italian teammate Romano Fenati in the overall standings as the category goes into a mid-season break.

It was a good recovery from Miller after a last-start crash at Assen in the Netherlands cost him a crack at victory and a bag of points.
