Hamilton’s pain ahead of Hungarian F1 GP

Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton is to undergo physiotherapy this week after crashing in qualifying for Sunday’s German Grand Prix, a newspaper reported on Monday.

“My knees are no problem, but my back and my neck has been the issue really,” Mercedes driver Hamilton was quoted as saying by the English Daily Telegraph newspaper.

“I do need some physiotherapy as my back is in more pain than normal. But they’ll be OK, I’ll get some work done on them this week.”

Hamilton crashed due to a break defect in Saturday qualifying at Hockenheim but finished third in the race having moved up from 20th on the grid.

The Briton trails Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg by 14 points in the world championship ahead of Sunday’s Hungarian Grand Prix.
