Australia well and truly has a new sporting hero in Daniel Ricciardo adding the Hungarian Grand Prix to his Canadian title.

Online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au has opened betting on just when Ricciardo will win his first F1 Championship title.

A massive turnaround this season to take the title is priced at $101 with his chances next year a lot faster paced at $9.00.

2016 ($8.00) and 2017 ($7.00) are offered higher up the betting grid, with no title before 2018 the $1.50 favourite.

But the odds from Sportsbet suggest we do have a world champion in Daniel, paying $1.85 that he will be F1 champ someday and $1.95 that he won’t.
