Money is starting to flow for the promising Ihtsahymn to win Saturday’s West Australian Derby.
Online bookmaker Sportsbet.com.au has posted Ihtsahymn $2.40 favourite, after the three-year-old drew ideally in barrier two. Nearest rival, Oaks winner, Balmont Girl ($4.00) will start from gate 11.
“Ihtsahymn looks the horse to beat. He was impressive winning his lead-up, he drops in weight and has drawn a great barrier,’’ Sportsbet.com.au’s Shaun Anderson said.
Respondent ($6.00), third to Ihtsahymn last start, and Real Love ($8.00) round out the runners under double figures.
