Vet inspection for 2016 Golden Slipper colt

Valuable colt Capitalist has passed a veterinarian inspection after a lead-up gallop to the $3.5 million Golden Slipper.

A one-time favourite to win the race for two-year-olds at Rosehill on Saturday, Capitalist was inspected by a Racing NSW official after completing his work at Randwick on Tuesday morning.

The Magic Millions winner lost Golden Slipper 2016 favouritism after a last-start defeat in the Todman Stakes when the colt was suffering muscle soreness.
