The Group Two Dato Tan Chin Nam Stakes at Moonee Valley has attracted a strong list of 16 nominations including two-time winner The Cleaner.
Now trained by Peter Gelagotis, the popular frontrunner won the past two editions of the 1600m weight-for-age race when trained by Mick Burles in Tasmania.
The nominations for Saturday’s $250,000 race include five Group One winners while Victoria’s premier trainer Darren Weir has entered five horses including Japanese import Tosen Stardom.
