News:
The favourites are on the drift as two well-credentialled fillies firm in betting for the Blue Diamond Stakes at Caulfield.
Following Tuesday’s barrier draw the two favoured colts, the Mick Price-trained pair of Extreme Choice and Flying Artie have been easy in betting.
Extreme Choice has gone from $2.60 to $2.90 after drawing barrier 13 while Flying Artie is $4 from $3.50 after drawing wider in 17.
Both colts go into the race as last-start Caulfield winners with Extreme Choice taking out the Chairman’s Stakes on February 6 and Flying Artie successful in the colts and geldings Prelude a week later.
In contrast Samara Dancer and Concealer have been well supported after drawing favourably.
The pair ran one-two in the Fillies Prelude on February 13 and will start from adjacent gates in five and six.
They are both at $6.50 with Samara Dancer firming from $7 and Concealer in from $8.
The four two-year-olds are the only ones under double figure odds with the Hawkes Racing Star Turn next best at $15.
