Melbourne Cup-winning jockey Michelle Payne will be honoured for her achievements in Sydney next month.
The Australian Turf Club has confirmed Payne will ride at Randwick on December 5 and will also be available to meet the public.
The ATC had a successful day on Saturday when it farewelled champion jockey Jim Cassidy who rode in his last race earlier this month.
Payne is no stranger to Randwick having claimed the second of her five Group One wins at the track aboard Yosei in the 2010 Sires’ Produce Stakes.
