Her Majesty the Queen is favourite to win the race named after her, the Queen Elizabeth Stakes, at Royal Randwick this Saturday with her horse Carlton House the $3.50 favourite at Sportingbet following tonight’s barrier draw for the feature race on day two of The Championships.

The Gai Waterhouse-trained Carlton House drew favourably in barrier five and is favourite in front of Silent Achiever ($4.50), It’s A Dundeel ($5.50) and Royal Descent ($8).

Carlton House was a $19 chance when Sportingbet.com.au opened its Queen Elizabeth Stakes market back in January.
