Honest mare Platelet has lost no admirers after a horror barrier draw for The Goodwood on Saturday.
Platelet ($7.50) remains the best backed runner with online bookmaker Sportsbet.com.au. In a very open race Miracles Of Life ($6.50) heads the market over Driefontein ($7.00).
“It’s going to be tough for Platelet from barrier 17, but the wide gate hasn’t deterred punters. Miracles Of Life is favourite, but she’s so far friendless in betting,’’ Sportsbet.com.au’s Shaun Anderson said.
Damien Oliver’s mount, Unpretentious ($12) has had some support, while Riziz ($41) is the best backed outsider.
