Moment Of Change on song for Memsie Stakes 2014

Luke Nolen can’t fault Moment Of Change as the sprinter tries to keep a perfect 1400-metre record at Caulfield.

Nolen has guided Moment Of Change to three Group One wins over Saturday’s Memsie Stakes course and distance and believes the gelding is in the right condition to challenge for another in Saturday’s feature.

“He’s ticking over nicely,” Nolen said.

“His work (on Tuesday) was solid. He’s going in there a happy horse.

“He might not look the best horse in the yard, his coat isn’t there yet but physically I can’t fault him.”

Moment Of Change returned to racing in the Listed Regal Roller Stakes and lumped 62kg into second behind Hard Stride who carried 8kg less.

The six-year-old returns to weight-for-age conditions at Caulfield and based on his first-up performance and his work on Tuesday with Memsie rival Dissident, Nolen believes Moment Of Change can make his presence felt.

Moment Of Change won the CF Orr Stakes at his second run from a break earlier this year.

He has drawn barrier eight in the 11-horse field and is one of two Peter Moody-trained runners along with the resuming Dissident.

Moment Of Change is on the fourth line of betting at $7.
