The Memsie Stakes will be run at Caulfield on Saturday which will mark the first Group 1 of the season and the field has a Spring flavour to it with a quality group of runners to line up. We take a look at the speed map we have created for the race and try and find some value for punters.

Overview:

Looking at speed map shows us Silent Achiever $11 is likely to get the best run of the race and the racedoesn’t look to have a lot of speed in it unless Sweet Idea $5.50 and Moment Of Change $7 tackle each other which i think is unlikely.

Dissident $17 will sit just off the speed by forward of the mid field horses and if he can get a tad of luck in the straight i think he will have plenty to give at a great price. Those in the back of the field will be hoping for a good tempo so i wouldn’t want to be taking the short odds around any of these runners but Boban looks the best of the back markers due to his impressive turn of foot off a slow speed.
