Extreme Choice and stablemate Flying Artie have worked over the Golden Slipper course at Rosehill ahead of the $3.5 million race.

Extreme Choice is the favourite for Saturday’s Golden Slipper ahead of his Mick Price-trained stablemate Flying Artie after the pair ran one-two in the Blue Diamond Stakes.

Price said Tuesday’s gallop from the 1200m-chute had been beneficial although both had had practice in Melbourne working in the clockwise direction.

Extreme Choice will race for new owners in the Slipper with Newgate Farm securing his stud future in a multi million dollar deal.

Newgate’s partners include the China Horse Club with Craig Newitt to wear their red and yellow colours when he rides Extreme Choice in the Slipper.
