A track gallop at Moonee Valley this morning has sharpened Lankan Rupee for his first-up assignment in Saturday’s McEwen Stakes at Moonee Valley.

Online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au has opened the champion sprinter as $1.25 favourite for the Group 2. Sessions, beaten almost seven lengths by Lankan Rupee last time they met, is second favourite at $11.
