Punters are getting behind Knoydart after connections paid a $55,000 late entry fee for Saturday’s Newmarket.

While the groundswell for Knoydart is growing, the bulk of money has come for the top three in betting – Shamexpress and Lankan Rupee, who head the market at $4.50 and Samaready, who is at $5.00.

The trio have been smashed by punters and have attracted the same amount of backing to date.
