G1 winning filly Yankee Rose is unlikely to contest the 2016 Cox Plate with connections likely to head towards the Ethereal Stakes following her Flight Stakes run with the VRC Crown Oaks a likely target.

Yankee Rose led and weakened in Saturday’s Golden Rose with her next start being against her own sex in the Flight Stakes before a Melbourne campaign.

Yankee Rose will trial on Friday wk, bkr’s off trial, will be ridden back in heat, Black Shinn rides , Flight Stks next.
