In a wide open betting race the Darren Weir trained Platelet heads betting at $5.00. Shamal Wind is next best at $6.00, along with Villa Verde, who has firmed from $7.00 into $6.00 and Gregers who is also on the second line of betting.
“Platelet rarely runs a bad race and she’ll take improvement from her second-up run. However, she is meeting some quality opposition and it looks a race with many live chances,’’ Sportsbet.com.au’s Shaun Anderson said.
