It’s A Dundeel could have said to be disappointing leading into this race having not won this preparation but he has silenced his critics by winning the richest 2000m race on turf.
James McDonald came out during the week saying he was going as well as ever and that he had been a run behind in all the lead up races which is why he could be excused for not winning in lead up, but was at his peak for today’s race and he wasn’t wrong.
A slight mishap before the race couldn’t stop him with Sacred Falls running second and the Queen’s horse Carlton House in third.
